Nick Krebs, M.D.

Hello everyone! I was raised and inspired by my wonderful parents in Eden, NY, a small farming community outside of Buffalo. Like most, you may be wondering how I ended up in beautiful, CO. My undergraduate years were spent at the University of Rochester where I studied Biomedical Engineering (and music on the side). There, I met my beautiful and brilliant wife Melissa, who is a CO native, Cherry Creek alumna, and now professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. After graduation we moved to Boston, MA.

My passion for helping children was fostered as a volunteer on the pediatrics wards at Massachusetts General Hospital. After finishing medical school at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, a research-based program at Case Western Reserve University, I completed my pediatrics internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Denver Health Medical Center where I was fortunate to learn from some of the most dedicated and passionate pediatricians in their respected fields.

During our training, Melissa and I welcomed Adelaide (Addie) and Margaret (Maggie) to our family. Being a father has been a humbling, rewarding, and joyful experience; watching my daughters grow has offered me perhaps the best training in pediatrics. Aside from medicine and family, my passions include: outdoors/hiking, running, jazz, working with my hands, and a good college football game.

I am very excited to join the Greenwood Pediatrics family! It is a privilege and honor to help care for children, adolescents, and their families. I enjoy all ages and love teaching. I look forward to meeting your family so we can work together as a team to help the ones we cherish most achieve their goals and dreams.

Dr. Nick is possibly the best pediatrician we've ever had the privilege of working with. We have 3 boys under the age of 9. Dr. Nick is very detail oriented, thorough and extremely family friendly. This guy knows his stuff and we're grateful to be able to call on him when needed. A+ doctor.
